We thank God for His continuous grace in establishing 239 churches including 3 new works and 200+ members receiving water baptism. Due to Covid-19, we were not able to conduct our 4-month church planting course in 2021. Nevertheless, we have been conducting online classes for Diploma Students and meeting with church planters. We are regularly connecting via various means of social media. Overall they are doing well. Now they are meeting together on-site for weekly services. Almost all of our network pastors and members are vaccinated against Covid-19.
Year after year our nation suffers from natural disasters. This time, we had a massive flood in one district which directly affected people in 6 areas. Many families lost their houses and crops. Roads to villages and other basic facilities such as electricity & water supply were completely destroyed. We sent 50 sets of solar lights for 50 families which helped provide some light for studying & chores as well as power to charge mobile phones to stay connected with one another.
Covid-19 is still affecting our daily activities and families are burdened with financial needs. A British evangelist once said, ”God has chosen us to help one another.” With your help, we are able to distribute food packages for 260+ needy families that can last for two weeks to a month depending on the size of their household. We also sent food packages for pastors and extended financial support for a year for 14 needy pastors. We are planning to add 5 more pastors to this list. Currently we are supporting 32 church planters.
We are at the midst of renovating our 12-year old training centre. Partitions are added to make new classrooms, dormitories, office and library. Now we have better facilities to train and retrain pastors and leaders to expand His kingdom. If you have theological books on hand, we welcome you to build our library by donating them. It will help pastors to grasp the true knowledge of God through reading.
From February 2022, church planters training will resume. There will be at least 2 upgrade trainings for pastors, ongoing Diploma in Theology, youth and women’s training scheduled throughout the year.
