New Arrivals Dennis, Daisy and Daniel

We are facing some problems with our visas. The department is unable to finalise some items. We are currently waiting for their reply to take finger printings, etc. This may cost more than expected initially. Please pray with us.

Baby Daniel is doing well here. He allows everyone to carry him which does lighten our work. We are praying for a helper to look after him as well. Do pray that we’ll find a patient, God-fearing English speaking helper.

CNL’s Youngest Missionary

Daniel Koh

CNL-Calbayog pastor, Ferdie, has left us. I have terminated his service because of his irresponsible action. He left the church for Cebu during our absence, without my consent and only preached in CNL on Sundays. The vehicle which I loaned to him for ministry was also sold off by him without first informing me. Nonetheless, thank God, we have a new church planter to replace him. He is married with children who are already in college. We also found another married couple with 2 children to help take over the work in Ormoc. In addition, a fresh Bible-school graduate from Iloilo just joined us. I am helping her to settle down and to disciple her.

The Bible school project is still progressing. I am excited every time I think about it. We are also saving money to buy a vehicle for the ministry so that we could supervise the new project and to also visit our pastors.

A meal with CNL-Tacloban staff

Pastor Jasmin is on leave for the moment, so I am temporarily overseeing CNL-Tacloban. My focus will be to encourage more people to attend Prayer Meetings. First priority is 1 to 1 discipleship and second priority is Prayer Meeting. Do pray with us that the members here will catch the vision.

We are rather busy at the moment. Many things on our hands — Baby Daniel, visa application, Bible school, forming a registered foundation in Manila, discussions with the architect, looking for cheaper land, managing the outstation churches and overseeing CNL-Tacloban. We really need your prayers and intercession to manage our time well.
