The new church buildings in Tanauan and San Miguel are finally dedicated to God on 4 & 5 July 2015 respectively! What a happy day it was with the preaching of the Word and prayer followed by fellowship and much home-cooked food!
Many thanks to our local partner, Rev. Patricia Capwell of IFL, who mobilised her organisation’s expertise and volunteers to build typhoon-resistant buildings for these 2 affected villages. We stand amazed at the gracious provision of the Lord and the people’s heart in giving all that they have to rebuild their places of worship. It is a precious milestone for them and us to be a part of their journey. Thank you for giving sacrificially way back in Nov 2013 when Super Typhoon Haiyan made landfall. Were it not for your fervent prayers and generous gifts, what we see today would not be possible in these 2 communities.
