First, I give God the glory for all the mighty things he has done. He is truly awesome, wonderful and faithful in fulfilling His promise to His people. His timing is also perfect – to everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. I believe with all my heart that he still has great things in store for His church here in the Philippines. He who has began a good work will certainly carry it to completion.
Praise God for Ps Francis and the team from CNL-S’pore who came to Tacloban in August. Their week-long visit was a tremendous blessing to us. Many amazing things happened — salvation, rededication, healing and miracles. There was a woman who was partially paralyzed for a year who came to our meetings and when we prayed for her, she got healed! Today, she walks well and is feeling better (see picture). Some people also came to testify later that God healed them even though they did not come forward to the altar.

A MIRACLE
We prayed for a lady (left) with partial paralysis and she was healed.
The presence and power of God was so strong during that week and even till today, the Holy Spirit is still moving in the midst of us — in our worship, ministry and in our prayer and intercession. Our daily morning prayer meeting is significantly transformed and is so different now compared with before. God has through the past weeks, opened more doors to start bible study groups among couples, adults and even the young people.
Every Sunday we have newcomers. People testify that they were ushered into the church by the Holy Spirit and found Jesus to be real in our services. Quite a few former church members have now come back, too — praise God! Ps Francis and the team made and left a great impact in the church.
The time is ripe to arise and to go make disciples with a difference in this community as well as the communities beyond.

We now have 12 churches in region 8 – which consists of Leyte and Samar island, and the work is spreading out. Next year, we will start a new church-planting training centre in Tacloban to equip all our present and future outstation pastors to plant new works in their regions. They will undergo a 3-month training after which, those who have a burden to start new churches will be sent out under our supervision. My goal is to plant churches in all 13 regions of the Philippines and this training centre will be the platform to fulfill this vision.
