Faith is the confidence that no matter how things turn out, God will somehow use them for His glory and our good. We thank Him for His grace and mercy, provision and protection from every danger and calamity and all of His goodness.
Although the church undergoes pain and struggles, we remain strengthened through God’s promises. Despite all, we thank God for giving us the spirit of resilience and the ability to bounce back. Our struggles are not reasons to give up but a challenge to improve ourselves. Our pain is not an excuse to back out but an inspiration to move on. Whenever we feel like running away from our problems, the best hiding place is still found in God’s loving embrace. He is always on time. Happy is the person who has learned to wait as he prays, never losing patience with God and resting in His perfect timing.
The circumstances we’re going through, no matter how difficult, is part of the very hope and future God has planned to give us even from the beginning. And it is all good.

#2 CALBAYOG CHURCH
28 people were shot on the streets by unidentified men in October. The killings were done for various reasons – political, business, personal, etc. A member expressed that she fears what is happening to our place. Recently the community has requested for a prayer rally because the government has identified Calbayog as a trouble hotspot. In response, our church youth decided to come together 4 times a week at dawn to pray and the adults gather once a week to uphold this city in prayer.
#4 MAKIWALO CHURCH
In October, someone filed a petition to remove our presence from the community. This made everyone in the church turn to God to intervene. In spite of this external threat, bible study groups, prayer meetings and other corporate church activities continued to be held openly and without fear. Praise God, the complainant miraculously and mysteriously withdrew and even asked for an apology from us for their unscrupulous act! Members are now strengthened in boldness for God and the church continues to increase in number every week.
#5 CATARMAN CHURCH
The Lord is always good inspite of bad circumstances in the ministry. Catarman Church continues to grow and we were able to plant a church in Servantes. There are another 2 villages where we plan to start 2 churches. We need your prayers as we look for more avenues and leaders to expand God’s mission.
#6 BORONGAN CHURCH
We managed to start new bible study groups in different villages around Borongan town and God has been using every member of the church, including the youth, to reach out to families who are seeking. Recently, we were also blessed with musical instruments through some people who came to our fellowship. We are thankful to God and to them for sustaining the church as well as providing for our daily needs. God is good and He is great.
#10 TANAUAN CHURCH
God continues to change lives by the power of His Word. Some members testified that their lives are changed by God. Before, they prayed fervently for the dead whom they believed are in purgatory. But after they joined our bible study groups, they were delivered from this practice and now, they are free to serve and trust only in the Lord Jesus Christ. We continue to share the Good News and conduct bible studies, with the promise that the truth will indeed set many more people free!
#11 SAN MIGUEL CHURCH
More and more young people, including children are coming for bible study sessions. They are encouraged to be a blessing to their families as well as to their peers and praise God for those who led their families and friends to follow Jesus Christ as their Lord, God and Saviour. Pray that our fellowship center will develop into a light in the community.
#12 SERVANTES CHURCH
We celebrated our 1st anniversary in October this year. Thank God and those who labour with us in prayer and financial support for the construction of a worship premise.
As of now, members and leaders continue to invite people every Sunday as well as conduct bible studies for newcomers and new believers. Please pray that God will use them mightily in the ministry and may He shower His blessings over them for their daily needs.
