'Because Aram, with Ephraim and the son of Ramaliah, has planned evil against you, saying, “Let us go against Judah and terrorize it, and make for ourselves a breach in its walls, and set up the son of Tabeel as king in the midst of it,” thus says the Lord God, “It shall not stand and nor shall it come to pass.”'
As the Lord enlarges our territory of ministry, we sense the tide of opposition rising. We need your prayers. It took almost 2 months before the authorities finally renewed our visas. The registration of the NGO for our orphanage has been slow and tedious. The actions of the government administrative body do not seem very supportive towards the ruler’s initiatives. The demand of bribes is on the rise again. Pray for us to practice righteousness and be prudent not to offend the unscrupulous officials handling our matters. In early July, I made a visit to a remote church with 2 of my co-workers. We had to climb 3 mountain passes. Each pass is about 3,000 to 4,000 ft. high.
AN ARDUOUS TREK TO CHURCH
We needed the help of a local experienced man to cross a strong river made swollen by the recent monsoon rains.
IT’S JUST THERE!
The distant tree at the far end of the mountain ridge marks our destination. We had to trek one full day to reach it.
LAND! LAND!
This is the new 33,000 sqft land acquired in May 2005. The property includes the house and all the terraces in front of it.

The church was planted and is now pastored by one of our students after she graduated from our training centre last year. They are the only believers in this remote area.

Political Situation -
The main political parties are opposing the ruling government. Pray for good and capable people to rise up to build and govern this nation.
Church Planting Works -
Give thanks to God for the people who gave to support our 20 church planting works. Ask for God’s rich blessings upon them and their family. Pray for our pastors and believers in the remote areas to remain strong and steadfast in their faith where rebel influence and threats are strong.
Harvest Centre -
Praise God for the safe arrival of the new batch of trainees for our 7th church planting course. Keep both the trainers and trainees in your daily prayers. Pray that the Lord would raise good and effective workers from the 12 trainees for the harvests field.
Vision 200/20 -
To establish 200 vibrant churches in 20 years in the Himalayan regions where there is no church.
Goal 200/2 -
To have 200 believers in 2 years for each church planted. Praise the Lord for the 7 new works that have started this year from our training centre. Pray that our target of 10 churches for this year would come to pass from the next batch of trainees
Hope Orphanage -
GROWING AND GROWING
We now have 17 children in the Home – 12 boys and 5 girls
We are now in the process of the NGO registration, ask for the Lord’s favor and protection on the home. Pray for strength and wisdom upon C as she looks for suitable workers to help manage the home. We are now looking at buying land. Pray for God’s choice of land and supply of resources.
Pastoral Conference Aug 8-10 –
This would be our 2nd quarter gathering of pastors and leaders from our 20 outstation works. We need the Spirit’s renewal and refreshing as we gather for a time of retraining and reporting..
