Greetings in the most wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We pray that all things are well with you. Thank you for your consistent prayer and support. We celebrated CNL-Tacloban’s 6th Anniversary last month. We thank our Lord for giving us the priviledge to witness His mercy and power upon everyone here. Six years have passed by quickly and the churches here have grown. Currently, CNL has helped establish 5 churches in the Eastern Visayas of the Philippines. They are CNL- Tacloban, CNL-Calbayog, CNL-Ormoc, CNL-Cartarman & CNL-Makiwalo. CNL-Tacloban was filled to the brim with around 120 enthusiastic adults and 40 children during our anniversary service. This year, Steven Teo and Kwang Liang specially came to celebrate with us.

Steven spent 9 days with us, teaching in our Training School on the discovery of the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit and how to operate in each of them. Today, most of the students are practising what they have learnt and ministering through the 3 gifts of revelation through the word of knowledge, the word of wisdom and the discerning of spirits. Through his sharing, God is able to move more freely in our lives and services. Daisy and myself are very much refreshed by the visitation of Steven & Kwang Liang. We really enjoy this kind of fellowship. When they ministered in the school and church, we were able to rest our minds and bodies. Pray with us that more from Singapore will visit us often.
PRAYER REQUESTS
- Our current budget for the School is still lacking. Pray that more provisions will come in.
- Pray with us that from 2004 to 2006 we will be able to train enough students to plant at least 2 churches a year and with adequate financial assistance to help these pioneers.
- God has opened the door for us to share the gospel in every school. Pray for a good follow-up plan and commitment from our local members.
- CNL-Calbayog has begun to build her worship place on a rented land. They are in shortage of funds to finish the roof. Pray that God will send the right person to help in this situation.
- Pray that God will send a pastor to oversee CNL-Tacloban so that I can be released to focus on the Training School to send out more church-planters.
- Pray for both of us. The work load here is always increasing. Our staff are also frequently stretched & exhausted. Pray for strength, good health & wisdom to prevent burning-out.
