We had a really good opportunity to fellowship with some of our South Asian pastors. They were in Singapore for Covenant EFC’s Intentional Disciple-Making Conference at Singapore Expo. Thank God for CEFC and her many sponsors who made it possible for them to come!
Many are first-time visitors to Singapore and many things fascinated them. One example is our driverless North-East Line. They were stunned for a while when we told them that the train they were riding on has no driver. It was only when we took them to the front of the train and told them that the entire system was computer operated that they relaxed. Their child-like awe at things we take for granted is a poignant reminder of how we can easily take God for granted, too. May we not lose that child-like fascination with God, His love, grace and providence. Thank God for family who shows us the way to the kingdom.
