Thank you for always remembering the work and the people in this city. We praise God for the many responses to obedience that we see throughout this place in the past few months. Our prayer is that those who have responded will grow to become healthy disciples that will multiply.
God has been bringing to our attention Matt 9:37-38 over this season. This is a commandment given to Jesus’ disciples to ask the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into the harvest field. As we consider these verses, it became clear to us that the laborers that Jesus had asked his disciples to pray into the field to gather the harvest is not limited only to laborers from overseas. It also refers to workers from the local community. Would you join us in asking that the local community will rise up to respond to this call and to enter into laboring in this harvest that is ready?
Some fellow workers here whom I am in touch with are experiencing some challenges with their visa situations, health conditions as well as physical safety. Please ask God for favor that they may continue to serve the people here. Cover us with your prayers – that the gospel will continue to advance even in these challenging circumstances.
