Reflecting the Cross

As we enter into 2015, one thing stands out this season – there is an unprecedented increase in challenges on many fronts. While extremism, Ebola, aviation accidents, maritime mishaps and political scandals plague our world, our churches in the Philippines and South Asia are being battered by the weather and East Asia is being seduced by cults. As the body of Christ and a part of society, we are called to reflect God’s love and to usher in hope to the many who are facing violence, storms, floods and heresies. More than ever, now is the time to step up in big and small ways and to let the Gospel of Christ bring eternal hope to the communities around us.

And we respond in 3 ways as disciples of Christ. By seeking the wisdom of God, not the world’s. By being led by the Holy Spirit, not the needs. And by praying in the Spirit. It is God who is doing the transformation afterall and He invites us to join Him in what He’s orchestrating. At the end of the day, it’s ‘Let YOUR kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven!”
