New Additions
We have much to be thankful to God!
A new business opened next to the shop of a believer where we have been using as a premise for weekly church gatherings. We shared the Gospel with this new shop owner on 3 separate occasions, mainly sharing our personal testimonies, the good news and answering questions that she had. Praise God – she accepted the Lord this month! This was barely 2 weeks since she opened shop. We want to praise God for the opportunity to share and the way He has prepared this lady’s heart. Please ask that the follow up will go smoothly and that she will grow deep roots in Christ.
Another business person that we have been reaching out to for the past 3 years surprised us this week by asking if we can start a church in her shop! We also found out that she had believed many years ago but did not have the desire to learn more then. We are therefore thrilled that God had not stopped pursuing her and that today her desire for God has been rekindled. Please pray that her desire for God will grow even stronger. Pray for the Spirit to establish and move in this church, that it will become a healthy gathering of believers being light and salt to the community and reflecting the glory of God.
A believer recently spoke about her desire to use the years of experience that she has accumulated from working in a English training school to help the less privileged students in the city with their English. We suggested she start with what she can find in her hands to do and ended the conversation by lifting up this desire that she has before God. Recently, she and another Christian friend who is also very passionate about English have started an English corner in one of their homes and they are hoping that it will become a platform for outreach. Praise God for raising up more and more locals for Kingdom work. Please ask for fruitfulness!
It is never easy choosing and living out truth under the system on which this country runs. Ask that Christians here will take delight in walking out Psalm 1:1-3.
Last but not least, I greatly appreciate your support and prayers for me and the ministry here.
