Hope this update finds you well and that you’ve all had a good first quarter of 2009.
Having spent a good 9 days in Singapore, I headed out to another part of Asia for a conference cum training before returning to this City. It was a refreshing time for me as I learnt new things and am being challenged as I set goals for 2009 for my time here.
For this year, I sense God’s leading to look into the area of reaching out not only to the students, but also to their families who are in this City as well. Starting work amongst the poor and needy and seeing sustainable groups amongst them is another area that I feel the Lord is pointing me to give more time to.
Please pray with me for
- God’s guidance and providence in reaching out to the families of my existing student groups as well as to new students and their families.
- The students that I already have contact with – that they catch the same vision and be a bridge to their families.
- The hearts of these family members to be prepared and ready for the gospel of truth.
- Open doors, perseverance and faithfulness as we explore the possibility of working amongst the poor and needy of this City. Protection for us as we do survey trips.
