The Basic Right to Know

I often wonder about the issues surrounding human rights to basic needs like water & sanitation.  While no one denies this right, some abstain from making a stand for fear of the implications that come with it, such as footing the bill for others or giving up their want to turn it into a trade commodity.

What about the human need to know God and to live under His rule and care? There’s a great imbalance between those who have access to the Gospel and those who don’t. Do we also abstain for fear of the implications that come with it, such as increasing our missions giving or to give up our wants for the needs of others?

We can give without loving, but we can’t love without giving.
